• Unconnected speakers do not output the test signal.
• Check connections and perform automatic speaker detection once again when a connected speaker does not output the test signal.

• When bi-wire speakers are connected (á page 20), press [SPEAKERS A] or [SPEAKERS B] to switch “ ” on.
Testing speaker output
Confirm audio output using the test signal after speakers are set.

To select “SPEAKERS A”
Press to switch “ ” on.
• If you select SPEAKERS B only, the test signal will not be
output.

To test speaker output

• Adjust the volume of front speakers to the normal
listening level.
• The test signal is output from one speaker at a
time for two seconds in the order shown below.
