5. Replace the EBM. See “Recycling the Used Battery or UPS” on
page 46 for proper disposal.
6. Reinstall the joining brackets if removed in Step 3.
7. Plug the new EBM into the UPS as shown in Figure 21.
For additional EBMs, plug the EBM cable into the battery connector
on the adjacent EBM.
8. Remove the breaker tie from the circuit breaker on all EBMs.
9. Switch all battery circuit breakers to the ON (
| ) position.
