Mounting the SC-1
Mount the SC-1 on a strong supporting structure or cart. Carts can be useful when
moving a projector during a presentation or from site to site. If possible, lock the wheels
when it’s in position to prevent it from being moved during a presentation.
Take special care if using a mobile cart; avoid sudden stops, force and uneven surfaces
that may cause the top-heavy cart to lurch and overturn. Make sure your mounting
structure is reasonably level, then adjust one or more projector feet as necessary to
fine-tune.
Adjusting the FeetFor installations on a floor or suitable supporting structure, a single projection head should
rest firmly on its feet. To adjust the height and level of the projector, extend or retract the
feet by rotating them using a crescent wrench; see
Figure 3-9.
Tilting the ProjectorYou can tilt the front end of the projector up or down as much as 15 degrees. Likewise,
you can tilt it side-to-side up to 15 degrees. This limit ensures safe lamp operation and
proper position of the liquid cooling reservoir in the projector. See
Figure 3-12.
Figure 3-12. Tilt Ranges (Front-to-Back and Side-to-Side)
Do not attempt to invert or ceiling-mount the SC-1.
WARNING
Tilt only as shown, and only if absolutely necessary.
