SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
The date and time appear in the display and reports, and are printed at the top of
every page you transmit. Set the date and time by pressing the keys on the
operation panel as shown below.

To correct a mistake, press the
SPEED DIAL
key to move the cursor back to
the mistake, and then enter the correct number.

Press the keys shown at left. "ENTRY
MODE" will appear in the display.

Press the keys shown at left. "DATE &
TIME SET" will appear in the display.

Press the
START
key.

Enter a 2-digit number for the month
("01" for January, "02" for February, "12"
for December, etc.).
(Example: January)

Enter a 2-digit number for the day ("01"
to "31").
(Example: the 5th)

Enter the last 2 digits of the year. (Note:
In the year 2000, "00" will appear for the
year.)
(Example: 1996)

Enter a 2-digit number for the hour ("01"
to "12") and a 2-digit number for the min-
ute "00" to "59").
(Example: 9:25)
