SELECTIONOF PAPER
Yourprinteracceptsanyof thefollowingpapers:
Singlesheets(cutforms)andstationary
Usethefrictionfeedor theoptionalAutomaticSheetFeeder.
Fanfoldforms
Fanfoldformshaveholesalongthe sidesandperforationsbetweenthe
sheets.Theya~ alsocalledsprocketforms,punchedforms,orjust plain
“computerpaper”.
Printingon or near the perforationsof continuousfanfold forms may
reduceprintingquality,misalignthefanfoldforms,or causeapaperjam.
It is recommendednottoprintwithinanamaofoneinchbeforeandafter
theperforations.
Multi-partforms
You can use multi-partformsthat have up to five parts includingthe
originalwhentheMulti-partmodeis selectedwiththeEDSsetting.(For
details,pleasereferto Chapter6.)
Usepmssumsensitivemulti-paxtformswithbothsideedgesgluedanda
diffe~nce in thicknessof 0.05mmor lessbetweenthe sideedges.
It is recommendedto usethebottomfeedwiththe optionalPullTractor
Unitto get finealignment.
NOTE: Careshouldbetakenincolorprintingwithcontinuousmulti-part
forms.Sideedgesofpapermightbe damaged.
