Shepherd
The Shepherd is handy in duplicating one single camera's configuration to multiple cameras. In this
way, you do not need to open web consoles with individual cameras for a multiple times. Before using
this function, you may open a web console with one of the camera, and congure all aspects of camera
settings including network, general settings, security protocols, and media-related settings.
a. Double-click on the Shepherd shortcut. Note that the target cameras must reside in the same network
segment as your NVR's LAN port.
b. The Shepherd window will prompt. Select a camera (supposedly the one that you have congured
satisfactory System, Network, and Media settings) by a left click.
c. Click Get Camera Settings. An Export Camera Settings window will prompt.
d. Unfold menu items and select the items you wish to duplicate to other cameras.
e. Click Export. A Paramters ini le will be created into the D:\VIVOTEK Inc\Shepherd folder.
f. Click to open the Import tabbed menu. Use the Browse button to open the Parameters le.
g. Parameters will be listed, select the parameters you want to duplicate. Please unfold the menu and
check carefully on each conguration detail.
h. Select the cameras which will receive the duplicate parameters.
