Take Apart CPU Stiffener - 73
Important: Check that the
serial port EMI clip is
attached to the bottom of the
CPU stiffener. If it is
missing, replace the
stiffener. On international
units, also replace the
stiffener if the modem EMI
clip is missing.
Replacement Note: Move
the display switch cable and
microphone cable forward
before reinstalling the CPU
stiffener. This will prevent
them from being caught
under the stiffener and
possibly damaged.
