Colored lines across the page
If colored lines appear at 1.2 in. (30 mm) intervals, identify the
color causing the problem and replace the toner cartridge that
matches the color of the line (see Replacing the toner
cartridges on page 82).

If colored lines appear at 3.7 in. (94 mm)intervals, put a new
drum unit (see Replacing the drum unit on page 90).
White spots or hollow print
Make sure the media type setting in the driver matches the
type of paper you are using (see Acceptable paper and other
print media on page 34).
Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as high
humidity can cause hollow print
(see Product Safety Guide).
If the problem is not solved after printing a few pages, foreign
material, such as glue from a label, may be stuck on the drum
surface (see Advanced User's Guide).
Put in a new drum unit (see Replacing the drum unit
on page 90).
Blank page or some colors are
missing
Identify the color causing the problem and put in a new toner

If the problem is not solved after printing a few blank pages,
foreign material, such as glue from a label, may be stuck on
