the <ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS> menu. (Only for the imageRUNNER 1670F/1630
models.)
Select <356 mm> in <MAX. SCAN LENGTH>. (See “Copy Settings,” on p. 4-6.)
Printing Problems
The Alarm indicator flashes.
The machine may have a paper jam.
Clear the paper jam. (See “Clearing Paper Jams,” on p. 6-2.)
If the machine has no paper jam, disconnect the machine from the power supply and
wait 10 minutes, then reconnect it. If the problem is fixed, the Alarm indicator will turn
off, and the LCD will return to the Standby mode. If the Alarm indicator remains lit,
disconnect the machine, and call your local authorized Canon dealer.
Printout does not match paper size.
Paper may not be loaded and aligned correctly in the paper drawer or in the stack
bypass.
Make sure the paper is loaded and aligned correctly. (See “Loading Paper,” on p. 5-5.)
General Problems
The machine has no power.
The power cord may not be connected securely.
Check that the power cord is connected securely into the machine and into the wall
outlet. Insert the power cord straight into the power cord connector on the left side of
the machine. Do not insert it at an angle. Otherwise, the machine may not be properly
connected to the power supply and may not turn on. If this happens, disconnect the
power cord, and reconnect it correctly after a minute or more.
