Printing Maintenance
When Printing Becomes Faint or Colors are Incorrect
When printing becomes faint or colors are incorrect, the Print Head Nozzles are probably
clogged. Follow the procedures below to clean the nozzles.
Note
If ruled lines are printed misaligned, adjust the Print Head position.

Aligning the Print Head" on page 37.
If ink tank replacement does not resolve the problem, the Print Head may be
worn out. Contact the Customer Care Center.

If the print quality is poor, perform
Print Head cleaning
Step 1
"PPrint Head Cleaning" on page 31
Step 2
If the pattern is printed normally,
click Exit.
If the problem remains after performing Print Head cleaning three times

Step 3
If the problem still remains
"RReplacing an Ink Tank" on page 41
Step 4
After Print Head cleaning, print
the nozzle check pattern.
