sgm adduser

Full Syntax
sgm adduser [username]
Command Description
If SGM User-Based Access is enabled, adds the specified user to the
authentication list.
When you add a user, SGM prompts you for the following information:
• User’s password. When setting the password, follow the rules and
considerations in the “Creating Secure Passwords” section on page 18-5.
• Whether to force the user to change the password at the next login. The
default is not to force the user to change the password.
• Authentication level for the user. Valid levels are:

1—Basic User

2—Power User
–
3—Network Operator
–
4—Network Administrator
–
5—System Administrator

command.
You must be logged in as the root user or as a super user to use this command.
Note If you have enabled Solaris authentication, you must be logged in as the root user,
not a super user, to use this command. See the “Implementing SGM User-Based
Access (Solaris Only)” section on page 18-2 for more information.
