Verify Disk Media — This option runs a utility that allows you to scan the media of
a hard-disk drive for defects. If the utility finds bad blocks on the media, it
prompts you to reassign them; if you select Yes, those blocks are no longer used.
You can press <Esc> at any time to exit the utility.

NOTE: If Windows NT was factory installed by Dell, the AIC-78U2 and AIC-78

The Windows NT 4.0 driver diskette you create for the Microsoft Windows NT Server
operating system contains the files needed for driver installation. The diskette con-
tains the following files to be used with Windows NT:
aic78u2.sys — Adaptec’s driver for the 7890 SCSI controller for Windows NT
aic78xx.sys — Adaptec’s driver for the 7860 SCSI controller for Windows NT
