I/O controls (TPX 88 A only)
When creating or viewing a configuration, you must specify whether the
configuration applies to video, audio, or both. This is done with the I/O selection
button (

) and indicated by the Video and Audio (
8*
) LEDs.

I/O button — The I/O button selects video, audio, or video and audio for
input selection.

Video and Audio LEDs — The Video and Audio LEDs indicate whether
video, audio, or video and audio will be selected using the Input and output
buttons (
1
and
2
).
Pressing the I/O button advances through a cycle of video and/or audio
selection as follows: {default} video and audio, {press} video only, {press}
audio only, {press} video and audio, and so on (figure 3-2).

Mute All button and LED — The Mute All button toggles the mute function
on and off for all of the local audio outputs (those on the rear panel 3.5 mm
captive screw connectors).

Volume knob — The volume knob sets the audio gain or attenuation level for
the selected input and the volume level for the selected output. The level and
volume adjustments affect only the local audio outputs (those on the rear
panel 3.5 mm captive screw connectors).
The current input audio level setting for the selected input is displayed by the
output buttons. A more detailed explanation of audio gain adjustment is
included in Viewing and adjusting the input audio level (TPX 88 A only)
beginning on page 3-20.
The current output volume level setting for the selected output is displayed
by the input buttons. A more detailed explanation of audio volume
adjustment is included in Viewing and adjusting the output volume (TPX 88 A
only) beginning on page 3-22.
