10 Remove the three screws shown in the following picture.
11 Disconnect the speaker cable.
12 Lift the palm rest assembly completely from the convertible notebook.
13 If the new palm rest does not include the touchpad cable, transfer the cable to the new palm
rest. Go to Step 14.
-OR-
If the new palm rest includes the touchpad cable, go to Step 17.
14 Turn the palm rest over so the back side is facing up.
