11. Enter a workgroup if appropriate.
12. Insert Windows for Workgroups 3.11 Disks 7 and 8 when prompted.
13. Reinsert the drivers disk when prompted.
14. Click OK to accept that the system files have been modified.
15. Click Continue.
16. Exit Windows.
17. Type A:\INSTALL
18. Press any key to continue.
19. Press Enter to begin the installation.
20. Press Enter to accept the C: drive.
21. Press Enter to accept the default directories.
22. Select Microsoft Windows for Workgroups and press Enter.
23. Press Enter to accept the C: drive.
24. Press Enter to accept the Network drivers directory.
25. Select Install MS-DOS and Windows components and press Enter.
26. Press Enter to accept the Windows directory.
27. Select whether you are using Full Duplex or not and press Enter.
28. Select Update CONFIG.SYS and Create Backup and press Enter.
29. Select Accept Configuration Settings and press Enter.
30. Press any key to continue.
31. Select Exit Program and press Enter.
32. Type EDIT C:\CONFIG.SYS.
33. Change the following line:
DEVICE=C:\NEWMEDIA\LWPLUS\LWPLUS.EXE
to
DEVICE=C:\NEWMEDIA\LWPLUS\LWPLUS.EXE /APM=OFF
34. Save and exit the file.
35. Restart the OmniBook by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del.
