7 Operating the VP-725XLA Presentation Switcher / Scaler
The VP-725XLA includes the following front panel buttons:
• A set of 21 INPUT SELECTOR buttons
• A set of Video Group and Audio Group SELECT buttons

Scaler Mode and Master Audio buttons

• A FREEZE button
• A PIP button
• A set of 7 OSD buttons (described in
Table 1
): OSD ON, MENU,
ENTER, -, +, UP, and DOWN

7.1 Using the Operating Modes
The VP-725XLA operates as five independent 4x1 switchers

and as a scaler
that switches one of the 21 inputs to the scaled outputs. These modes operate
simultaneously, as well as independently.
The four buttons in the SELECT area on the front panel let you select one of
six operating modes, as defined in
Table 4:
1 The VIDEO GROUP SELECT button selects the video input from each group to switch to its group output
2 The SCALER SELECT button scales the selected video input (one of 21) at each of the SCALED OUTPUTS
3 Composite video, s-Video, component video (RGB or YPbPr), HDMI and UXGA
