1.6.2 Password for the Printer
When connected to a network, you can set a password for your printer from
the
Remote Operation Panel
. If a password is set, you must enter the
correct password in order to change settings from the
Remote Operation
Panel
. However, you can print without entering the password.
A password can be an ASCII character string of up to 15 characters and is
case-sensitive. The space character is not allowed as part of the password.
