Operational range of the remote control
• Keeptheremotecontrolphoto-sensoroutofdirect
sunlight or fluorescent lamp light.
• Keeptheremotecontrolphoto-sensoratleast2m
(6 feet) away from fluorescent lamps. Otherwise, the
remote control may malfunction.
• Ifthereisaninverter-operateduorescentlampnear
the remote control, the remote control operation may
become unstable.
• Whenyouusetheremotecontroltooclosetothe
remote control sensor, the remote control may not work
correctly.

When operating the remote control, keep the
distance from the remote control to the projector
via the screen within about 5 m (15 feet). The
operable range of the remote control, however,
depends on the characteristics of the screen.
Using the wired remote control
Attached remote control for this projector can be used as a wired remote control with remote control cable. Wired
remote control is useful for operating in a distance or outside of the operating area.
• Forconnection,usethepin-pincableofø3.5stereo
type, which is commercially available. However,
some cable may not work correctly.
• WhenREMOTEOUTterminalonthisprojectoris
connected to the REMOTE IN terminal on the other
projector, the two projectors can be controlled
together by using the remote control.
• Whentheremotecontrolisconnectedwithremote
control cable, it does not work as a wireless remote
control.
• Whenusingthewiredremotecontrol,thelaser
beam may be darker. It is normal.
