Features That Are Not User-Configurable
The following features are supported but are not user-configurable.
Internet Group Management Protocol Version 2
Internet Group Management Protocol version 2 (IGMPv2) is a communications protocol that is
used to manage the membership of IP multicast groups. IP hosts and adjacent multicast routers use
IGMPv2 to establish multicast group memberships. IGMPv2 provides more efficient use of
resources for online streaming video and gaming. IGMPv2 is enabled by default and is not user-
configurable.
ITU G.992.5 Annex M
ITU G.992.5 Annex M is an International Telecommunication Union (ITU) standard that extends
the capability of basic ADSL2 by doubling the number of upstream bits. ITU G.992.5 Annex M is
enabled by default and is not user-configurable.
Link Layer Topology Discovery
Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) is a licensed data-link layer protocol for network
topology discovery and quality of service (QoS) diagnostics. The LLTD protocol, which was
developed by Microsoft as part of their Windows Rally set of technologies.
Wi-Fi Certified 802.11n Draft 2.0 by the Wi-Fi Alliance
Wi-Fi 802.11n Draft 2.0 is a certification program for products that are based upon the IEEE draft
2.0 802.11n specification. Products that are certified for Wi-Fi 802.11n Draft 2.0 provide a higher
throughput and an improved range compared to products that offer legacy 802.11 a, b, and/or g
technology.
Wi-Fi Multimedia Power Save
Wi-Fi Multimedia Power Save (WMM-PS) extends the battery life of Wi-Fi devices by increasing
the efficiency and flexibility of data transmission. With WMM-PS, data can be transmitted in a
shorter time and using fewer frames, while allowing the Wi-Fi device to remain longer in a low-
power, “dozing” state. WMM-PS is enabled by default and is not user-configurable.
