Installation
Operating System Requirements
Server Computer
The Server Software must be run under
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP, or
• Windows NT 4.0 (SP6 or later)
with the latest Service Packs installed. A connection to the printer
which will be managed is also required, this can be a direct
connection (USB or Parallel), or a network TCP/IP connection.
The Server Software acquires and saves print logs at the time
specified. Up to five times can be set per day. If the Server computer
is shut down, the software cannot acquire print log information.
Therefore, the Server computer must be running continuously, or at
least be running at the specified time(s) each day.
Client Computers
Client computers can run under any of the following:
• Windows 95
• Windows 98
• Windows Me
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Windows NT4.0 (SP6 or later)
• Macintosh OS 8.x
• Macintosh ODS 9.04 to 9.2
