IP DSCP Priority
Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) is the 6-bit field in the header of IP packets, and it is for packet
classification purposes. The DSCP algorithm is based on IP DSCP fields in the IP header. There are 64 levels
of priority degrees (0 to 63). Figure 35 shows the DS field:
