2. Test Print
Head
Before you select this option, make sure that the material
is loaded in the printer input area so you can print a test
pattern.
To use this option:
1. Press the + or – buttons to scroll through the
Setup Menu options until the 2. TEST PRINT
HEAD option appears on the LCD panel.
2. Press the Enter button to select this option.
The LCD will display “Print test pattern?”
3. Press + for Yes to print the test pattern, or press –
for No to cancel.
If you press +, “Please wait...Test pattern is print-
ing” displays. The printer prints a diagonal line
across the material. If a gap is present within the
diagonal line, the nozzle may be blocked and need
to be cleaned.
4. Press the Menu button to back out of the menu
until the printer displays OFF LINE . Then press
the ON LINE button to enable the printer.
