Canceling a Memory Transmission
You can also cancel the mode using
the same procedure in the following
cases:
• [Fax Destination],[Internet Fax Destina-
tion], and [IP-Fax Destination] are
specified simultaneously.
• Only either [Internet Fax Destination]
or [IP-Fax Destination] is specified.
Before the Original Is Scanned
Use this procedure to cancel a trans-
mission before pressing the {

}
key.

❒ When documents are placed in
the ADF, you can cancel trans-
mission simply by removing
them.
While the Original Is Being
Scanned
Use this procedure to cancel a trans-
mission after pressing the {

} key.

}}
} key.
The machine stops scanning.
Note
❒ You can also cancel scanning by
pressing [Stop Scanning].
❒ Scanning may be completed
while you are performing the
cancel operation.
While the Original Is Being
Transmitted
Note
❒ If the transmission finishes while
you are carrying out this proce-
dure, it will not be canceled.
❒ If you cancel a message while it is
being sent, the transmission is halt-
ed as soon as you finish the cancel-
lation procedure. However, some
pages of your message may have
already been sent and received at
the other end.
