Ink Error
Ink error is displayed also in the local guidance. ( P.3-21)
Message Cause Solution
The IC chip of the ink cartridge can-
not be read normally.
Remove the Eco-cartridge generating
the warning once and install it again.
If the same warning message still
appears, contact your local distributor to
call for service.
The ink of the ink cartridge is differ-
ent in type from the ink currently
supplied.
Check the ink type of the Eco-cartridge
generating the warning.
The ink of the ink cartridge is differ-
ent in color from the ink currently
supplied.
Check the ink color of the Eco-cartridge
generating the warning.
An error occurred in the IC chip
information of the ink cartridge.
Check the Eco-cartridge generating the
warning.
When you use white ink, check that
there is no nozzle missing etc.
An ink cartridge has not been
installed in the slot.
Install an appropriate Eco-cartridge in
the slot generating the warning.
The ink of the ink cartridge has
been completely used up.
Replace the Eco-cartridge generating
the warning with a new one.
The ink of the ink cartridge has
been nearly used up.
Replace the Eco-cartridge generating
the warning with a new one.
Even when there are enough ink,
ink end has been detected.
Check the ink pack set status in the eco
case.
The specified expiration date of an
ink cartridge has passed.
The expiration date has passed.
However, you can use it until the end of
the following month.

passed after the specified expiration
