Setting Logical Seek
The motion of Head varies depending on the set of Logical-seek.

Press the key in LOCAL.

Press the key.

Press to select [LOGICAL SEEK].

Press the key.

Press to select a set value.
• Set value : HOST / ON / MEDIA LENGTH / MACHINE LENGTH

Press the key.

Press the key several times to end the setting.
• You cannot specify the logical seek at the RICOH Software RIP side. When you set this machine to
“Host”, printing will be performed in “LOGICAL SEEK=OFF” status.
• When you set this to “ON” or “HOST”
Required time for completion of printing will be shortened. However, enough drying time cannot be
ensured and it may affect the image quality.
