PRINT HEAD BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
If the print head balance is out of adjustment, the printed image will be darker on side of the label
than the other and the media stock will be proned to want to travel in the direction of least
resistance.
The adjustment of print head pressure on the label is subjective. One will know when balance is
achived by the disappearance of prevailing negative characteristics. To adjust print head
balance, perform the following procedure.
1 Open the top housing cover to access the print assembly.
2 Begin the continuous printing of labels.
3 Slightly loosen the set screw and slightly adjust the adjustment screw until the negative
characteristics are corrected.
4 Hold the adjustment screw in position while retightening the set screw.
5 Close the top housing cover to conceal print assembly.
