Install the antennas and cables
Note: When connecting the cables, hand-tighten the connectors; do
not use tools.
ToinstalltheMainRF,GPS,andAPantennas:
1. Mounteachantennaaccordingtotheinstructions
providedwithit.
2. ThreadtheantennacablestotheMPmodem.Securethe
cablesasnecessary.
Note: To avoid RF interference
problems and possible damage
to the MP modem, do not power
on the MP modem before
connecting the Main RF
antenna.
3. ConnecttheMainRFantennacabletotheTNCconnector
ontherearoftheMPmodem.
4. IfyouareusingGPS,connecttheGPSantennacabletothe
GPSantennaconnectorontherearoftheMPmodem.
5. IfyouareusingWAP,connecttheAPantennacabletothe
APantennaconnectorontherearoftheMPmodem.

TheAPantennamustbeinstalledbyaprofessionalandthere
mustbeaseparationofatleast20

Step 3 — Install the power harness

vehicle’sbatterywiththepowerharness.TheMPmodem
supportsavoltagerangebetween9
voltsdirectcurrent(VDC)

VDC,andisdesignedforboth12VDCand24VDC
