11. TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
The battery is nearly
end.
The battery life is
expired.
The printer power is not
turned on.
The printer is apart from
the PC or handy
terminal for over 10cm.
The printer is not
positioned in a
communicable angle.
Direct sunlight is
coming into the IrDA
interface window.
The IrDA interface
window is dirty.
The serial interface
cable is connected.
(GH20 model only)
The printer is communi-
cating with the PC or
handy terminal by the
Bluetooth. (GH30 model
only)
Other problems
The printer stops
printing each time one
label is issued.
IrDA communication
cannot be used.
Corrective action
Replace the battery with
a fully charged one.
Replace the battery with
a new one which has
been fully charged.
Turn on the power.
Move the printer closer,
within 10cm.
Move the printer to the
proper position.
Avoid direct sunlight.
Clean the IrDA interface
window.
Disconnect the serial
interface cable from the
printer.
Terminate the Bluetooth
communication.
