Connect the AC adaptor to the Toshiba drive and to a working
electrical outlet.

3 Connect the Toshiba drive to your computer via
USB
Never connect the Toshiba drive to a computer with both a USB cable
and an eSATA cable at the same time. Doing so could damage the
drive and/or the computer and may cause data loss.
Connect the drive to your computer using the provided USB
cable. Turn on your computer, if it is not already on.
