put bin by using the control panel and the Outputbin selection in the
Operator Control menu. Choose Upper for the upper output bin.
Choose Lower for the lower output bin. Choose Side for the side
(face-up) output bin. Choose * for
any
face-down (upper, lower, or
LCOS, if installed) output bin. Choose LCOS for the optional large-
capacity stacker, if it is installed.
The LCOS, an option for the 3825 Print System, handles only Letter/
A4 size paper. If you are using a different paper size and printing from
an application, LCOS will not be a selectable option. If you are print-
ing without using a printer driver, and you select LCOS, the printer will
automatically use a different face-down output bin.
For example, follow these steps to select the lower output bin:
1 Press the Online/Offline key to take the printer off line.
The indicator light by the key goes out and the message window
continues to display

2 Press the Menu key to enter the configuration menu.
