Znyx Networks bh5700 Switch User Manual

OPERATIONS
zl2d manages the Spanning Tree state fields in the switch of each port within the bridge(s).
Based on a timer, zl2d reads the port information for each Linux bridge and updates the switch
when necessary.
EXAMPLES
In the following example, zl2d creates a Linux bridge named bzhp0 which includes all of the
zre<n> devices previously associated with the zhp0 device. zl2d then starts a background
task that monitors the port information of the Linux bridge every 500 ms. and updates the
Spanning Tree state fields in the hardware when necessary.
zl2d -t 500 zhp0
Once you run zl2d, use brctl(8) to display and alter your Spanning Tree settings.
