Code Lookup
Code Lookup is used to look up definitions of Diagnostic Trouble Codes
(DTCs) stored in the scan tool. The scan tool does not require power from the
vehicle to perform this function. Internal battery power can be used.

Function List
.
Only one character can be changed at
a time.
❒ Use arrow keys to
position the cursor.
❒ Use the arrow keys to
change the selected character.
Press
to display the defini-
tion(s) for that number. More than one
definition may be available for the DTC
number entered. Use the
arrow keys to view them.
If the definition does not exist for the
vehicle, then a message displays.
Press
to return to the
Lookup
Code
screen or press the key to
return to the
Ford Function List
menu
.
