NetCentric Internet Fax
Internet faxing (NetCentric FaxStorm) brings together the power of the PC and
the economy of the Internet. Outgoing faxes are relayed from your desktop to a
network provider’s fax server over an IP connection. From the server, the fax job
is transmitted across the Internet using sophisticated least-cost-routing
algorithms, then delivered to a fax machine using local phone lines, or to another
computer as an e-mail attachment. Faxes can be sent to a single recipient or to
multiple recipients. NetCentric™ FaxStorm tracks your faxes to their
destinations, and informs you of their status. When servers are down due to
Internet outages, NetCentric™ FaxStorm re-routes your fax jobs and requests for
account status.
You can access incoming faxes from any web-connected desktop and even
forward them to others directly from the Inbox account.
For more information about how to use
NetCentric™ FaxStorm, see the online HELP
files after you install NetCentric™ FaxStorm on
your computer. Use the Help pull-down menu to
access HELP.
