An Error Message is Displayed on the Screen

Ensure that the printer is turned on.
If the POWER lamp is off, turn the printer on.
If the POWER lamp is flashing green, the printer is initializing. Wait until the POWER lamp stops flashing.
Ensure that the printer port setting corresponds to the printer interface connection.
1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box.

2 On the Ports tab (or Details tab), select USBPRNnn (Canon i350 / Canon i250) or USBnnn
(Canon i350 / Canon i250) ("n" represents a number) in the Print to the following port.
Ensure that the printer is securely connected to the computer.
Note If you are using a switch box or other devices, remove and reconnect the printer directly to
the computer and try printing again.
If printing is now successful, there may be a problem with the device.
Also there could be a problem with the cable(s). Replace the cable(s) and try printing
again.
In Windows Me or Windows 98
If spooling action is abnormal, disable it to send the print data directly to the printer
and try printing again.
1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box.

2 Click the Details tab.
3 Click Spool Settings, and then select Print directly to the printer.
