Step 3 Press the cover release button. (See Figure 4-1.)

Step 4 While holding the cover release button down with your thumb, lift the opposite
front corner of chassis slightly with your other hand, and using your free thumb,
slide the cover back approximately 0.5 inches (1.27 cm); then lift it up and off the
device.
Caution For proper cooling and airflow, replace the cover before turning on the device.
Operating the device for extended periods (over 30
minutes) with the cover
removed might damage device components.
