The scanned documents have exceeded the
size limit of the e-mail server. Resend the job by
using a lower resolution, smaller file size setting,
or fewer pages.
E-mail Gateway did not respond An e-mail gateway has exceeded the time-out
value. Try resending. If the problem persists,
contact the system administrator.
E-mail Gateway rejected the job because of
the addressing information.

One or more of the e-mail addresses is incorrect.
Double check the e-mail addresses and send the
job again.
Error executing digital send job. Job failed An error occurred during an e-mail send job.
Verify that you have typed the correct e-mail
recipient addresses and try sending again. If this
error persists, have the network administrator
verify that the SMTP server is functioning
correctly.
Event Log Empty You are attempting to view an empty event log
by selecting Show Event Log from the control
panel.
Flash File System is Full The flash disk or file system has reached
maximum capacity. Wait for all pending jobs to
be sent and then try again.
Flash is Write Protected The flash file is protected, and no new files can
be written to it.
To remove this message from the display, turn
the device off and then on.
If the message returns, contact your system
administrator.
HP Digital Sending: Delivery Error Try sending the job again. If you continue to
experience problems, check the network
connection and contact the system administrator.
Initializing permanent storage This message appears momentarily during
power-up when the device hard disk is initializing.
