Checking Port/Computer
Status
You can confirm which ports are currently active and whether each port has a
computer or a slave switch connected by the following:
1. Press Print Scrn. The CCR Selection window appears on the monitor.
The symbols after the Port or Name columns show the status of the
port as follows:

Plus + Computer connected and running
Asterisk * Slave connected and running
2. Press Esc to exit the CCR selection window.
Advanced Switch Operations
Many switch functions are available that allow you to tailor your system to
meet your unique needs. Like the basic operation of the unit, system
configuration is achieved through the keyboard and the Console Configuration
Reporting. Some of the advanced operations include :

Scanning the computers connected to the switch

Displaying switch firmware version and settings

Saving switch settings
■
Resetting the mouse and keyboard
