2-Sided Printing Guidelines
To use the printer’s automatic 2-sided printing feature:
• The paper’s leading edge must have a length of 128–322 mm (5.0–12.65 in.).
• The paper’s side edge must have a length of 140–457 mm (5.5–18 in.)
• The paper must have a weight of 67–169 g/m
2
(20–40 lb. Bond).
• The paper type must be: Plain Paper, Heavy Plain Paper, Preprinted, Prepunched,
Letterhead, Thin Card Stock, Card Stock, Thin Glossy Paper, Glossy Paper, Recycled
paper, or Specialty media.
The following paper and media cannot be used for 2-sided printing:
• Thick and Extra Thick Card Stock
• Thick Glossy Paper
• Transparencies
• Envelopes
• Labels
• Any die-cut specialty media, such as business cards
