Troubleshooting tab
The Troubleshooting tab provides links to these main pages:
! Problem Solving: Provides various printer troubleshooting information. Click the arrow
buttons to scroll through steps to troubleshoot printing problems.
! Status Light Patterns: Provides illustrations and a table of status light conditions.
! Print Quality Tools: Enter Cleaning Mode.Click the arrow buttons to scroll through steps in
Cleaning Mode.
Alerts tab
The Alerts tab allows you to configure the printer to automatically notify you of printer alerts. The
Alerts tab has links to this main page:
! Set up status alerts
Note Status alerts are only sent during printing to the person who sends the print job.
Set up status alerts
On the Set up status alerts page you can choose to turn alerts on or off, specify when the printer
should send an alert when they occur, and choose from two different types of alerts:
! a pop-up message
! a task bar icon
Click Apply to activate the settings.
