Level Rules
This mode defines the level of a document based upon the level of the
previous document. These definitions are used as defaults when the
document level is not determined by another method (i.e., Footswitch,
P-Key, Level Key, etc.)

When using a Microimager 70 without the Advanced Function Module
installed, only the level rules for Mode 8 and Mode 9 may be defined; the
level rules are predefined and unalterable in Mode 1 – Mode 7. The
predefined values are:
• Mode 1 – Level 0 followed by Level 1
Level 1 followed by Level 1
Level 2 followed by no level
Level 3 followed by no level
• Mode 2 – Level 0 followed by Level 2
Level 1 followed by Level 1
Level 2 followed by Level 2
Level 3 followed by no level
• Mode 3 – Level 0 followed by Level 2
Level 1 followed by Level 1
Level 2 followed by Level 2
Level 3 followed by no level
• Mode 4 – Level 0 followed by Level 3
Level 1 followed by Level 1
Level 2 followed by Level 2
Level 3 followed by Level 2
• Mode 5 – Level 0 followed by Level 2
Level 1 followed by Level 1
Level 2 followed by Level 1
Level 3 followed by Level 2
• Mode 6 – Level 0 followed by Level 2
Level 1 followed by Level 2
Level 2 followed by no level
Level 3 followed by no level
• Mode 7 – Level 0 followed by Level 2
Level 1 followed by Level 2
Level 2 followed by Level 2
Level 3 followed by no level
When using a Microimager with the Advanced Function Module installed,
Scanner 900, Scanner 923, Scanner 9500, or Scanner/Microimager 990,
the level rules for all modes may be defined.
