The Temperature Warning Indicator flashes red and the projector will automatically shut down when the internal
temperature of the projector exceeds normal level. At this time, the Standby Indicator lights off and the Temperature
Warning Indicator continues flashing. After cooling-off period, the Standby Indicator lights on again and the projector can be
turned on by pressing the Standby / On button on the top control or on button on the remote control.
If the Temperature Warning Indicator continues to flash, check the followings:
– Ventilation Slots of the projector may be blocked. In such an event, reposition the projector so that Ventilation Slots
are not obstructed.
– Air Filters may be clogged with dust particles. Clean the Air Filters by following the section "Air-filter Care and
– If the Temperature Warning Indicator remains on after performing the above checks, Cooling Fans or the Internal
Circuits may be malfunctioning. Contact a Philips Authorised LCD Projector Dealer or Service Centre.

12. Maintenance
Ensure the Standby Indicator is lighted when turning on the projector. If the temperature is not lowered enough, the
Temperature Warning Indicator flashes and the projector will shut down again.
When the projector detects an internal problem, it will shut itself down and both the Temperature Warning and Standby
Indicators start flashing. In this condition, the projector cannot be turned on even if you press Standby/On button on the top
control or on button on the remote control. If this case happens, disconnect and connect the AC power cord, and then turn on
the projector again to check its operation. If the projector shuts itself down again or fails to be turned on, the internal check
and repair will be required. Plug off the AC power cord and contact a Philips Authorised LCD Projector Dealer or Service
Centre. Do not leave the AC power cord plugged into the AC outlet. It may cause fire hazard or accident.
