Important
If power outage lasts about an
hour, or the machine is discon-
nected from the power outlet
for about an hour, documents
stored in the fax machine's
memory are deleted. If any doc-
ument is deleted, the Power
Failure Report is automatically
printed out when the main
power switch is turned on. Use
this report to check which docu-
ments were deleted. Simply
turning off the power by press-
ing the Operation switch does
not delete stored documents.
See p.98 “Turning Off the Main
Power/In Case of a Power Fail-
ure”, Facsimile Reference <Ad-
vanced Features> .
Switching between Memory
Transmission and Immediate

Trans.} key to toggle between them.
Note
You can select the transmission
mode (Memory Transmission or
Immediate Transmission) that is

turned on or when the {Clear
Modes} key is pressed, using [Home
Position] under [Key Operator Tools].
See p.81 “Home Position”, Facsimi-
le Reference <Advanced Features>
(switch 02, bit 2).
You can have the machine return
to the status obtained by pressing
the {Clear Modes} key after each
transmission using [Home Position]
under [Key Operator Tools]. See p.81
“Home Position”, Facsimile Refer-
ence <Advanced Features> (switch
