Chapter 3 Basic Usage
Message Display
The message display displays the current number of cartridges in the AIT
autoloader, the AIT autoloader’s operational status, as well as warning and error
messages.
Normal display
• The left of the display indicates the operational status of the autoloader.
• The right of the display indicates the current number of cartridges in the AIT
autoloader.
Display during user operations, requests to users, error messages
A two-character code appears on the display. For details about the meaning of
the various codes, see “Error Code List” (page 47) and “Other Messages” (page
52).
Warnings
When the AIT drive needs to be cleaned or specific parts need to be replaced at
the end of their service life, LED light on the front panel of the AIT autoloader
and messages appear on the message display, as illustrated here.
Cleaning request
The CLEANING LED flashes green and the [C L] code flashes on the message
display. By default, you are notified that the AIT drive needs cleaning when the
AIT autoloader has been online for approximately a week.
