Error indicators for the input digital signal
When an error occurs on the input digital signal, the word SAMPLE or
SETUP and an error indicator flash alternately. Simultaneously, the F1
key lights or flashes in red.

Error indicator Cause Countermeasure
Sync When Word or AES (DI) sync is selected
with Clock Sel, the clock signal frequency
is outside the range between -12.5 % and
+8 % of the sampling frequency.
Valid Error of the validity bit
Slip The input signal is not synchronized with
the clock.
CRC Error of the CRC bit
Parity Error of the parity bit
Bphase Error of the bi-phase coding
Unlock The digital input signal is not locked.
Notes
• When operating with external sync, if you input a clock signal exceeding
+8 % of the sampling frequency, the Sync error indicator is displayed.
Even if you change the clock signal to a correct signal, the Slip error
indicator may appear. In this case, disconnect the clock input, and
reconnect it.
• The Sync error indicator may appear during rehearsal, sampling or
compiling when the clock is switched. This is not a problem.
