Glossary of Terms & Definitions
The following terms and definitions pertain to the Xerox WorkCentre 385.
Term Definition
ANS/FAX Mode To use this mode, you must have an answering
machine attached to the EXT.LINE jack on the
back of the machine. In ANS/FAX mode, the
machine automatically answers the phone call.
If the machine detects a fax signal, it will receive
that fax. If a fax signal is not detected, the
machine will send the call to the answering
machine. For this function, the LCD display on
the control panel shows ANS/FAX.
Automatic Paper You can stack up to 150 sheets of plain paper or
Feeder up to 10 envelopes or other special media in this
feeder. It will feed the loaded sheets
automatically.
