Attaching Stack to Multiple Segments
You can interconnect the hubs in a stack using a multi-segment
configuration. In a stacked system, some hubs may be
connected to a segment while others are isolated (not attached
to a segment). In this example, hubs 1 and 2 are attached to
segment 2, hubs 3 to 5 are attached to segment 1, and hubs 6 to
8 are attached to segment 3. However, hubs 9 and 10 are not
connected to any segment. These hubs form isolated segments.
