Port Mapping and Unmapping
Port Mapping
To map a virtual COM port:
1. Double click your Target item in the Port List to brings up the Port
Mapping dialog box:
2. Drop down the list of available COM ports and select the COM port you
wish to map the Target port to.
3. Click OK to complete the operation.
Note: 1. If a range of ports was selected, and Map consecutively is enabled, the
COM ports are mapped to the Target ports in sequence based on the
port numbers.
2. Only Virtual Mode ports are mapped. Other ports in the range are
passed over.
