Upgrading from DNM 3.0 and Later
This section contains the procedure to upgrade DNM Release 3.0 or later to the current
release. Upgrading from releases prior to Release 3.0 require a clean install.
Before upgrading DNM, check with the customer to:
1 Verify that available Solaris and HP-UX patches have been installed. If not, the
customer must install the patches before the installer can install DNM.
2 Verify that the existing Versant database has been backed up. If not, request the file
name or device name needed to backup the database.
