❍ Handle the scanner cartridge carefully.
❍ Do not touch the scanning head area.
❍ Hold the scanner cartridge by the ridges on either side of
the cartridge.
❍ Set the scanner cartridge into the holder, and lower the
blue lock lever.
❍ The thickness lever must be set to the right (for thick
paper, envelopes) so you can feed the carrier sheet
provided with the Scanner Cartridge.
Set the paper
thickness lever
to the right.
Insert the
scanner cartridge.
Remove the
scanner cartridge
from its
packaging.
