Switching the Printer On

Make sure that the printer is connected to the computer and that the power
cord is plugged into a power outlet.

Press and hold down the POWER button ( ) to switch the printer on.
The POWER lamp flashes for one to two minutes while the printer warms
up. When the printer is ready to print, the POWER lamp stops flashing and
remains lit green.
If you detect smoke, unusual smells or strange noises around the printer,
press the POWER button to switch the printer off, unplug the power cord
from the power outlet and contact a Canon service facility immediately.
Warning
